Business Process Analyst

GBBN has a position available for a Business Process Analyst in the field of facilities information management software implementation.  Applicant must be experienced and be prepared to perform tasks dealing with business process analysis, data analysis, data migration, user interface and report customization, system testing, implementation coordination, software demonstration and training.  An understanding of facility and infrastructure management information system requirements and prior experience in the implementation of a CAFM/CIFM/CMMS software program is desirable.  Knowledge of building operations and space, asset, work order and preventive maintenance programs is preferred, and an educational background in process engineering is ideal.

Responsibilities will primarily include:

  • Implementation of software or technical applications, such as:  ARCHIBUS, Tririga, FM Desktop, FM Systems, Datastream, Remedy, etc.;
  • Work with program managers and clients to define the scope and needs assessment (business requirements) while maintaining project and/or program objectives:
  • Conduct business process analyses with clients to determine system requirements including data structure, data standards, user constituencies, user interface mockups, business rule mappings, report mockups, acceptance test criteria, and project implementation plans;
  • Analyze legacy database systems to develop migration plans and data verification criteria;
  • Work with other team members and business partners to determine time and cost estimates for project tasks;
  • Perform system testing to ensure compliance prior to deployment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to think laterally and succeed in a dynamic environment;
  • Ability to lead projects and communicate effectively;
  • Experience with products such as MS Visio, MS Project, AutoCAD, MS SQL Server, and Oracle is desirable;
  • Ability to demonstrate application functionality to prospective clients.
