Chen Joins GBBN Asia Team

GBBN Architects is proud to announce that Michael Peng Chen has joined the firm’s Asia team as a Project Manager.

A native of Jiamusi City, in the Heilongjiang Province, one of the coldest parts of China, earned a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Auckland (New Zealand), as well as a Certificate of Training from the University of Oslo (Norway). Michael’s focus will be on the firm’s projects in China. He is currently working on the Sino Ocean masterplanning project in Tianjin, a 20 million square foot residential project.

Michael and his wife are currently living in Downtown Cincinnati. “We’re enjoying the urban lifestyle of the city, while I’m working on how to create comfortable urban housing and lifestyles in China,” said Michael.

In his spare time, Michael enjoys swimming, basketball and is learning to play golf.
