GBBN has taken another BIG step in strengthening its already proven team of talented professionals who specialize in higher education design.
Ronald Kull, AIA, former University Architect at the University of Cincinnati has joined GBBN as a Senior Project Consultant. Also joining the firm's higher ed team is Robert L. Knight, AIA, as a Project Manager.
As a Senior Planner, Kull will assist with master and strategic planning as it relates to campus building projects. In addition, he will once again work closely with Dale McGirr (UC's former senior vice president emeritus of special projects) who joined GBBN in October 2006.
"I'm looking forward to working with Dale again, and being a part of a team that shares my passion and vision for the future of higher education," said Kull, who is a member of SCUP (Society of College and University Planners), AUA (Association of University Architects), and the Urban Land Institute. He added, "My experience with planning the transformation of physical environments as a client (UC and the City of Cincinnati) brings an added benefit to the team, as I am very interested in new trends involving university facilities, senior living, mixed used and community development."
Knight, also a Cincinnati native, brings years of experience and his dedication to education design with him. "I was looking for a firm that shares my passion to connect client's needs while striving to grow and maintain a high level of service," said Knight. "GBBN's project experience and strategic goals match perfectly with what I want to do and with whom I want to be associated with as an architect."
As a Project Manager, Knight's focus will be on building and strengthening relationships with clients helping them develop their business plans and bringing them to fruition. "I am most interested in the educational environment," said Knight. "I want to help educate others on its importance and help them develop the highest quality learning environments possible."
