GBBN Architects is proud to announce that Mercedeh Namei has joined the firm as an Intern Designer.
A native of Iran, Tehran, Mercedeh is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, where she earned a Masters in Architecture. Currently her design projects are within GBBN’s healthcare market, and include the Wellington Medical Office Building. She’ll soon transfer to the University of Kentucky’s Patient Care Facility project team.
While a student, Mercedeh joined a few Iranian students at UC and organized the first Persian Student Association. The group focused on celebrating Persian culture, events and teaching others about the culture. “We had a great and successful year with the help of UC’s Student Leadership Organization,” said Mercedeh.
The downtown Cincinnati resident, is single and enjoys swimming, jogging, traveling and drawing.
