Guan Joins GBBN Asia Design Team

GBBN Architects is proud to announce that Ruilin (Raylean) Guan has joined the firm’s Asia Design Team. Born in Beijing, Raylean earned his Bachelor of Architecture from South China University of Technology, and a Masters in Urban Planning from the State University of New York – Buffalo. Currently he is working on the Vanke Tianjin Residential Development and Xi’an Fuli International Hotel projects.

Prior to GBBN, Raylean worked for a Cleveland-based firm focusing on sports and neighborhood planning projects. A member of the American Planning Association, Raylean is also a LEED Accredited Professional. He has research experience and interest in neighborhood density, housing value and green development.

In his spare time he enjoys skating, boating and swimming. He prides himself on the fact that he can swim 2.5 km (1.6 miles) in an hour in an indoor pool. While in school, Raylean was an active volunteer at Buffalo City Mission.
