Firm president Bob Gramann is this issue's featured Partner.
Bob is a Cincinnati native, and began his career at GBBN as a co-op from the University of Cincinnati in December, 1965 before becoming a full-time employee in June, 1966.. He obviously liked what he saw, and so did the firm's leaders. In 1972, Bob was named Partner, and from there it was the top or bust. In 1996, Bob was named president of the 40-person, Cincinnati-based firm. Today the firm employs 110 people and has offices in Cincinnati, Lexington and Beijing, China.
What are some of GBBN's projects that you've been involved with?
(in no particular order)
Bob and his wife Carol live in Hyde Park. They have a son, Chad, who lives in Chicago with his wife Melissa and their four beautiful children: Max, Mia, Tessa and Willa.
What are your goals for the upcoming year?
Professionally, my goals for 2007 are defined by our five-year strategic plan and the initiatives required to make sure we are successful as measured by our employees and clients. GBBN's goal is that we want to grow with our clients and maintain our 83% repeat client base by exceeding their expectations.
Personally, I have many positive traditions and addictions throughout the year which, involve our wonderful family and friends -- these are the priorities helping me balance my personal and professional life. These activities often include golf, hunting, travel and grand kids.
What is your personal mantra?
My mantra has always been -- have FUN, make a PROFIT, and do great WORK! All this must happen while keeping our priorities straight -- GOD, FAMILY, GBBN!
A new feature that will appear in upcoming issues of egbbn is the Partner Profile. In each issue, a Partner will be introduced and answer a few questions.
