Meet Kim Patton, GBBN's Director of Business Development. Kim is a proud graduate of the University of Cincinnati (Bachelor of Architecture) Danish International Studies (Copenhagen) and the College of Wooster (Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies) and Institute for European Studies (Vienna). Kim started his career at GBBN in 1991, and was named Partner in 1996.

What are some of the GBBN projects you have been involved with:

  • Cincinnati Public Schools
  • Erlanger City Building
  • St. Elizabeth Hospice
  • Thomas More College's Field Station & Observatory
  • Wilder City Building 

What are your goals for 2007? (and Kim's got quite the list!) 

  • Assist our markets in selling $14 million in net fees
  • Advance our marketing efforts and personnel
  • Advance our efforts in China (Kim spends 125+ days a year in China)
      - develop our legal structure
      - recruit new personnel
      - assist in client relations
      - assist in Business Development
      - research and develop the Healthcare market

What is your personal mantra?
Dare greatly so that your place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who know neither victory nor defeat (Theodore Roosevelt)

His secondary mantra is his belief that each day he spends in his convertible with the top down, adds two days to his life!

Kim and his wife Sarah are the proud parents of Samuel (16) and Andrea (13). Sam recently graduated from high school, and plans to spend a gap year in Germany studying. The Pattons hosted a German exchange student this past year). Upon his return, Sam will be attending Ithica College to study film. Andrea is a sophomore and is looking to spend her gap year in Spain. The Pattons will be hosting a Spanish student this summer. Sarah is planning to go back to college to earn a Masters in education this fall, and start teaching in 2008.
