It’s a new year and with a new year comes change. With this, the first issue of egbbn in 2007, such a change is being introduced. A new feature that will appear in upcoming issues of egbbn is the Partner Profile. In each issue, a Partner will be introduced and answer a few questions. If you weren’t already familiar with the leaders of our firm, now you’ll be able to put a face with a name and a face with various projects (past, present and future) featured.
Matthew (Matt) J. Birk is this issue's featured Partner.
Matt is the firm’s CIO, and became a Partner in 1996. The first GBBN project he was involved with was the Boone State Bank.
Matt and wife Mary live in Madisonville with their three children: Luke (17), Kirby (16), and Riley (16). Hobbies include hunting, fishing, and sports of all sorts.
What are some of GBBN's projects that you've been involved with?
What are your goals for the firm in the upcoming year?
To provide the highest quality, technology-based services to facilitate GBBN’s strategic plan as it applies to the management, design and production of GBBN’s services.
What is your personal mantra?
There are three types of people: those who lead; those who follow; and those who ask, ‘what happened?’ or, better yet… two types of people: those who fish and those who don’t!
