What are some of the GBBN projects you have been involved with:
What are your goals for 2007?
To continue to grow GBBN's development and mixed-use book of business by designing projects for our clients that create neighborhood vitality - combining opportunities to live, work and play. We find a lot of excitement in the opportunity to work on projects that range in scale from infill sites to master-planning over 20 acres at a time. As a firm, we also believe in creating healthy, sustainable communities, and we invest in our community by engaging in some of the mission-based projects we have been involved with.
What is your personal mantra?
Places tell a story and inspire people. We have a chance to make an impact on people's lives through the communities we help create, whether it’s by revitalizing an urban neighborhood, or designing a more productive workplace.
Steve and his wife, Heidi Jark, reside in the historic neighborhood of North Avondale. They are completing an adoption from Guatemala and plan to bring their daughter home later this Spring.
