GBBN Architects is proud to announce that Joseph Power has joined the firm’s design team as a Senior Project Manager.
A native of Sweetser (IN), Power is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati’s DAAP program. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Architecture, and focuses his design talents on architectural planning, programming and design with emphasis on music and performing arts facilities.
Power managed the expansion and renovation of two major colleges at the University of Cincinnati, including the College of Design Architecture Art and Planning as well as the College-Conservatory of Music. Current projects include program planning for a new facility combining the School of Music and The Theatre School at DePaul University in Chicago, as well as continuing planning for a new School of Music at the University of Memphis in Tennessee.
Power, his wife Linda Einfalt, a sculpture professor at UC’s DAAP, and their daughter, Amelia, reside in Cincinnati. In his spare time, Joe enjoys perennial gardening and running various distances up to and including marathons.
