2013 PARK(ing) Day Event
GBBN Cincinnati participated in PARK(ing) Day, an annual worldwide event where artists, designers and citizens transform metered parking spots into temporary public parks. The mission is to call attention to the need for more urban open space, to generate critical debate around how public space is created and allocated, and to improve the quality of urban human habitat.
PARK(ing) Day 2013 kicked off on a beautiful morning. GBBN'ers came together and transformed a parking spot on East 8th street into a one-hole putt-putt course. This hole is a part of many that span from the Over-the-Rhine District to Northern Kentucky. Along side, is the Big Swing that was built inconjuction with ARCHInati.
The Big Swing will be traveling around the city this weekend for the ARCHInati Festival.
