GBBN & ABC = Success

For nearly a decade GBBN has been an integral part of the success of Architecture By Children (ABC) with endless hours of volunteering by GBBNers as designers and architects, co-chairs, and jurors , as well as a financial sponsor.

This year’s topic was Sacred Spaces, and with the help of professional designers, students K-12 designed projects from start to finish. They had to interview a client, and then design a space for them on one of three provided sites (sound familiar?). Awards were given by grade groups in categories such as “future architect”, “juror’s choice”, and “master craftsman”. Thanks to everyone who helped make this year’s ABC program a success!
