GBBN Staff Give Back at Ronald McDonald House in Lexington

GBBN's recent U-Challenge offered staff members $500 to invest in something that would improve their lives professionally and personally. On Saturday April 23, staff members from GBBN's Lexington, Kentucky office pitched in to help the local Ronald McDonald House Charities reconfigure shelving and storage space within their facility. GBBN architect Greg Hosfield initiated the effort, utilizing the funds made available through the U-Challenge to purchase and install new shelving for the Ronald McDonald House. " I reached out to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Bluegrass to see if there were any projects that fit in the U Challenge budget that I could fund and then provide a little free labor to complete", Greg said. Existing shelves were unloaded and removed while new rolling shelves were constructed and restocked. According to the participants, it was a fun and rewarding day, and representatives from the RMHC expressed great appreciation and satisfaction with the team's efforts. According to Greg, "The result has been an opportunity to work on a debt that my family and I owe to RMHC after our recent extended stay at the Ronald McDonald House in Cincinnati, and to create a greater relationship between GBBN and RMHC in Lexington." Participants from GBBN included Ken Greene, Joe Turley, David Humlong, Jessica Hosfield, and Greg Hosfield
