GBBN Architects and IPPR Engineering Corporation, China’s premier healthcare design institute, have created IG Studio to maximize our collective potential to innovate the global healthcare environment.

Our intention is to create a design studio recognized internationally for creating highly effective healthcare environments, establishing industry standards in sustainable design practices, high-performance facilities, energy management, patient safety, and increased patient outcomes. The studio’s industry leading specialties include pediatric, oncology, and cardiac care facilities, as well as specialized surgery suites and emergency departments.

IPPR and GBBN, having developed a strong design collaboration, have jointly created IG Studio to deliver high profile healthcare projects throughout China and Southeast Asia. The studio is comprised of some of the most creative thinkers in the global healthcare design industry who will focus their attention on prominent public flagship hospital projects of 600 beds and greater in China’s first and second tier cities. Additionally, the studio will leverage relationships with US-based healthcare systems to pursue development of public/private partnerships and privately funded specialty hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers.
