Getting your hospital to "Go Green" does not start with a Sustainability Rating Systems, it's about the attitude your organization has in defining a systematic change to how you approach projects.  Change is not easy. Starting any new program or idea is always a daunting task.  An organization has to be prepared to accept risk in seeking the potential rewards. So what do you do to minimize the risk and achieve the rewards?  You have to have a plan, a process that leads to much deeper sets of questions and requires significant self evaluation.  In regard to Sustainability, it's a matter of asking three questions:  Who are you?   What are you? and Where do you want to go?
