GBBN Louisville Open For Business
GBBN Architects is proud to announce that its fourth office, located at 609 West Main Street in downtown Louisville, Kentucky, is open for business!
The late 19th century historic building houses the firm's 3,000 square foot, first floor office. The location allows for views of Main Street traffic and constant flow of pedestrians from the front, and a view of the Ali Center framed in the rear conference room windows.
"We're excited to be a part of bringing GBBN's wide-range of design expertise to Louisville," said David Proffitt, AIA, who oversees the day-to-day operations of GBBN Louisville. "We've assembled a team of immensely talented designers who have experience locally, regionally and internationally."
Currently four GBBNers make up the design team: Proffitt, Todd Dunaway, Michael Neureither and Darren Taylor.
"I'm very excited to make the move to Louisville as part of GBBN's efforts here," said Taylor. "The amount of energy and opportunity in this city is really quite something, and I'm looking forward to GBBN's continued commitment as we build our team in Louisville."
In keeping with GBBN's commitment to sustainability, the space was designed to be in accordance with LEED standards and will soon be submitted for recognition by the USGBC. Energy-efficient lighting and plumbing fixtures, high indoor air quality and recyclable and environmentally friendly materials are just a few of the sustainable features.
