GBBN Welcomes WA Inc to The Neighborhood

GBBN Architects is happy to announce that WA Inc, Cincinnati’s oldest minority-owned design firm has moved its operation into GBBN’s headquarters located at the corner of East Eighth and Broadway in downtown Cincinnati.

Strong, successful relationships are built on trust and tested by time. In the spirit of collaboration and the continuance of a 35-year successful working relationship, WA Inc. is now in residence on the second floor of the building that is home to GBBN Architects, as well as The Chesapeake Group.

GBBN and WA Inc.’s collaborative work resume includes:
Cincinnati Public Schools – Great American Ballpark -- Aronoff Center for the Arts -- Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center --  Hamilton County’s Alms & Doepke

“Our strategic plan for leadership transition, growth and resource improvement made this the right decision,” said Henry Wilson, president of WA Inc. He added, “It is our history of successfully working with GBBN on all types and sizes of projects, along with our vision for the firm’s future, that makes this strategic alliance such a good business decision.”

Currently the two firms are working together at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, a long-time client of both GBBN and WA Inc. Combining the ideas, design talent and commitment to providing value to its clients is something both firms believe in.

“Having WA Inc so close will allow us to continue to collaborate easier, share training facilities and resources, as well as grow stronger as individual firms and as partners on both education and healthcare projects,” said Bob Gramann, GBBN president and CEO. He added, “This is the ideal way to strengthen both our working relationship, and provide excellent professional service to our collective clients.”

WA Inc is located at 807 Broadway.
