Learning, Advancing, Connecting at the SCUP Plan for Transformation Conference

The Higher Education team is looking forward to connecting with campus leaders around the country at SCUP’s 49th Annual International Conference “Plan for Transformation” in Pittsburgh. GBBN will be featured throughout the conference as a platinum sponsor so look for us there.

As the architect for the University of Pittsburgh’s Swanson School of Engineering Science Research Complex, our design team will also be leading a tour to share the amazing transformation. Benedum Hall is now a state-of-the-art research and teaching/learning facility. The hall’s 22,000sf addition houses the Mascaro Center for Sustainable Innovation (MCSI), a center of excellence within the Swanson School of Engineering with a mission “to encourage and nurture new collaborative projects based on strong and innovative research that translate the fundamental science of sustainability into real products and processes.” This addition of lab, office, and meeting space compliments the facilities of Benedum Hall, and has received LEED Gold certification.
