Marcene Kinney Named to 2017 Leadership Cincinnati Class

Marcene Kinney, AIA, LEED AP, GBBN Principal and Director of Education and Culture, has been selected by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber of Commerce for its 41st Leadership Cincinnati class. Established in 1977, Leadership Cincinnati is the city’s flagship leadership development program with over 1900 alumni. The 55 members of this year’s class represent a diverse cross-section of Cincinnati businesses. The class will elevate their leadership skills through a year-long immersive learning experience that explores topics like arts & culture, economic development, inclusivity, and regionalism. Through the program, participants build community, find fresh perspectives on our region’s unique offerings, and find new ways to work together on future initiatives that shape and improve our city.

Since joining GBBN in 2004, Marcie has worked closely with the University of Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky University, and The Ohio State University. She has also been integrally involved in projects for some of the city’s most dynamic visual and performing arts institutions such as Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati, the Taft Museum of Art, and the Cincinnati Ballet. She is a graduate of the Chamber’s WE Lead program, co-founder and chair of AIA Cincinnati Vision Leadership, and the recipient of AIA Ohio’s 2014 Mentor Award.
