St. Paul Village Dedication

The Grand Opening for St Paul Village, a low-income independent senior housing complex operated by Episcopal Retirement Homes , was held on May 1st. and included Cincinnati Mayor Mark Mallory, City Manager, Milton Dohoney and other distinguished guests. Working together with Episcopal Retirement Homes and Model Group, GBBN designed the new and renovated apartments to incorporate modern finishes and energy efficient systems that gave the organization a marketable product in an ever-increasingly competitive market for low-income housing. The design also addressed the community spaces, incorporating warm interior finishes that create a comfortable environment. Following the “Green Communities” criteria, an alternative standard to LEED for affordable housing, provided higher efficiency buildings for the tenants while enabling the owner to be eligible for additional funding.

The facility includes:
• 103 affordable residences
• 96 one-bedroom residences
• Geothermal heating and air conditioning
• Wellness/Fitness Center
