The new Emergency Department is a 30,000 sf addition and renovation.  The project includes 7,000sf of new construction incorporating separate entrances for both emergency squads and walk-in patients, waiting areas and lobby.  The new facade is highlighted by two gently curving canopies which border new vehicle-access drives.  The interior renovation consists of 23,000 sf of new emergency department services.  These include 26 E.D. treatment rooms, 8 Express Care treatment rooms, triage, registration and assessment space, staff support areas, emergency squad support space and security offices.
