Hamilton County Department of County Facilities has documented 3.4 million square feet of space in the ARCHIBUS/FM Space Management module. To improve the condition of their facilities while decreasing operating costs, the County sought to integrate their existing space management system with a work order system.

Needs
  • Support its work order tracking and preventive maintenance demands
  • Schedule, document and track labor efforts
  • Reduce annual system maintenance costs
  • Migrate legacy data to preserve maintenance histories

Solution

in4mation guided the County through the Building Operations implementation process, coordinating the planning, software configuration, training, and data conversion for the project. The implemented solution:
  • Provides the central tool used for receiving, assigning, and documenting work performed across all sites maintained by the approximately 120 members of the facilities team
  • Allows dozens of departmental representatives to track maintenance issues for their respective departments using the iFM interface requiring only a web browser and internet connection
