Cincinnati Public Schools has begun their $1 Billion rebuilding campaign and GBBN Architects is proud to have designed two of their entirely new structures in 25 years.
Carson Elementary is a Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade project designed for 550 students. The three-story building was completed in the first phase, built under the state of Ohio School Facilities Commission Design Manual. The existing urban site was utilized for optimum playgrounds, parking and athletic fields. The new building has five groupings of four classrooms, each surrounding an extended learning space for multiple educational programs. A state-of-the-art technology system is supported from a dynamic media center, all with community availability in mind. The new gymnasium and dining room are centered with a two-sided stage for performances, lectures and community events.
