This $2M project was a multi-phased renovation of the hospital's (11) existing operating rooms and the supporting suite. With a limited budget, we focused the design on upgrades to OR lights and technology as well as bringing the 1960's design up to current guideline and code standards. We placed a strong emphasis on creating a welcoming environment for both patients and staff by renovating the finishes and furnishings with hospitality-yet institutional quality- products. 

We worked with administration and department staff for the best use of their budget by splitting the operating rooms project into 3 different project scopes that allowed for the largest budget to be spent on (2) operating rooms with a design that included the latest integrated video and boom designs, (2) operating rooms received OR light and video upgrades, and the remaining operating rooms received OR  light upgrades and the infrastructure to support the full technology upgrades in the future.
