The Education Center introduces a new focal point to the Children's Hospital Campus. The new six-story building houses the education components on the lower floors with office space above. It was constructed between two existing buildings and ties the buildings together at all floors, with the executive suite located on the top floor. The hospital's food service functions were consolidated with a new cafeteria and a food court which offers visitors and staff a variety of dining options. A new library wing consolidates the three existing libraries on the campus in a dynamic new setting. A large auditorium on the first floor, together with many break out and meetings rooms as well as specialized teaching rooms, allows for full flexibility in carrying out the hospital's teaching mission.
