Erlanger Municipal Center
client: City of Erlanger
markets : Development/Mixed Use
services : Planning, Construction

The original Erlanger Municipal Building, built in the early 1960's, housed the administration, police, fire department and post office. GBBN Architects designed a complete renovation and addition to the Municipal Center to house the police and administration departments.

The city expressed a desire to reuse as much of the existing facility while transforming the appearance of the building to give it a more civic feel. GBBN worked with the City to breathe life back into the 40 year old facility, while still maintaining 80% of the existing space. The new council chamber provides much needed meeting space for the city, but is also a resource for the entire community. Together, GBBN and the City of Erlanger, have created an exciting gateway project that has become an asset to the community.
