Formerly known as the A.S. Winslow House or "Hopewell."and more recently as the Ursuline Academy Building, this building was given a new life as the American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge and Cancer Resource Center. Designed to serve as a home away from home for oncology patients being treated in Cincinnati area hospitals and their caregiver, the building provides short-term residential accommodations including common kitchens, dining, gathering and living spaces, as well as 23 guest suites, made available free of charge to those families through a referral by the physician. The building also includes the new Administrative Offices, and conference/training facilities for the Hamilton County Unit of the ACS. The extensive renovation paid careful attention to significant details and spaces that represented the true character of this historic and beautiful structure. New elements were designed to be sympathetic, yet not replicate the original building.

"GBBN's attention to detail in this historic renovation not only took full advantage of the integrity of this historic building, but created all the spaces within the building and gardens to be warm and welcoming for our Guests, Caregivers and Staff.  In fact, the design has connected with our Mission so well that in bringing potential donors through the building, almost all of those visits have resulted in a gift to the project."
