Life Safety Documentation
client: Hamilton County
markets : Development/Mixed Use
services : in4mation
The nearly four million square feet of space managed by Hamilton County is visited daily by thousands of people, including employees, contractors, and the public at large. It is critical for life safety information to be readily available to communicate actions to take in the event of an emergency. Partnering with the in4mation division of GBBN Architects, the County implemented the Life Safety project to capture life safety information such as the locations of pull stations, fire extinguishers, exit signage, AEDs, eye wash stations, and other critical equipment. Egress routes with locations of all life safety equipment are posted on walls on each floor of the County’s facilities. Phase I of the project is now complete and 1.4 million sf of Hamilton County space has life safety information easily accessible.
