The University of Toledo and GBBN Architects have worked together do develop a student resident hall that provides all the amenities of the private sector, combined with flexible meal plans, social gathering areas, and recreational facilities. The New Residence Hall at UT will include (150) 4-person suites with private toilet and shower facilities. The students will enjoy 2-story shared lounges, on-site laundry facilities, fitness centers, kitchens to prepare their own food, and modern security systems.

GBBN (Design Architect) and Vetter Design Group (Architect of Record) have focused the University on the importance of this project to the University Master Plan. The New Residence Hall will be the centerpiece of a developing residence village while creating a strong connection to the traditional academic core of the campus.

Student Dining
A 200-seat Marche-concept Dining Hall, which offers a variety of prepared-to-order foods, and a casual dining room featuring a hearth fireplace, anchors the complex. The students will also enjoy a 100-seat Panera-style café with longer operating hours for early risers, and late night studying.
