In order to meet the needs of advancing technology, collection growth, and service to the public, this project provided 145,000 square feet of additional space and renovated 181,000 square feet of existing space to accommodate needs. In addition, the Library required the cataloging of their existing furniture, both public space and offices. The CAFM product was an electronic inventory system that included bar coded asset numbers on each item and a database which included the item's manufacturer, style, color purchase cost and date, current condition, building location and departmental allocation.
