The 8-story Research Center design includes the addition and complete renovation of the existing building creating a total research facility of 200,000 square feet. The new center is of modular design, which allows for customization of each laboratory research unit. Support and common-use space are in the core of the building to allow windows in the labs themselves. Perimeter services for plumbing and power allow hood and casework flexibility to assure long service life for the facility.
