With state-of-the-art child specialty care and leading advanced research, the Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC) is a world leader in child health. As the capabilities of the organization continue to expand, the demands placed on the physical facilities to service the organization have increased. CCHMC partnered with in4mation to identify a solution to manage and track the space utilization campus wide. With over 3.5 million square feet of space across sites in 3 states, an automated solution for capturing and managing departmental space was critical.

in4mation implemented the ARCHIBUS/FM system to manage the space inventory and track information for each room across the organization. The system has:
- Improved tracking of campus-wide space utilization, now capturing information associated with over 14,500 rooms shared between 240 departments
- Enabled the hospital to document the space used for clinical vs. research activities, providing accurate information to support grant funding for research space.
- Provided easy access for management reporting, planning, and maintenance through a secure website
- Enabled Management to make strategic decisions based on seamless reporting capabilities
