The vision for the 75-acre Master Plan for University Pointe was to create a patient-friendly pedestrian environment, with services connected from building to building so patients could access all services from one point of entry. Each sub-specialty, including a Ambulatory Surgery Hospital, Medical Office Building,Community Hospital, Cancer Center, Linear Accelerator, and other related healthcare entities, has its own identity for direct access from parking courts. The result, is a well defined system of vehicular and pedestrian paths through a campus setting allowing the market to dictate the pace of development without ever feeling incomplete. GBBN was integral in developing a successful Phasing Plan to accommodate user needs.
