GBBN is working closely with Cincinnati Museum Center to preserve and renew Cincinnati Union Terminal, a National Historic Landmark and local community icon. Over one million visitors per year will enjoy enhanced amenities in restored historic spaces and thoughtfully reconfigured museums. The project preserves a spectacular Art Deco masterpiece and assures the Museum Center’s continued rise as a premier cultural institution and visitor destination. The work includes extensive investigation and analysis to determine ideal repairs and restoration of historic exterior walls, windows and roofs. Mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other building systems will be substantially replaced and upgraded for improved performance and energy-efficiency, ensuring that Cincinnati Union Terminal endures for generations to come.
