Program Elements: Student study space, event space, classrooms, faculty offices and research centers.

The renovation of Hamburg Hall to facilitate the Heinz College of Public Policy and Information Systems provides much needed student collaboration space, event space and flexible, technology enhanced classrooms, which are designed to accommodate a variety of seating arrangements. Accommodations for faculty offices and research centers, as well as a classroom for the Executive Education program were provided.

Building system upgrades including the addition of fire suppression, new HVAC systems, new toilet rooms and windows, and address of code compliance issues, accessibility, and human comfort. This project is a phase of an ambitious project to fully modernize the nearly 100 year old Hornbostel building with improvements and an addition which will provide Heinz College with exemplary facilities for teaching and learning
