• I wanted to compliment you folks on what a spectacular space. It’s just wonderful. Lots of student activity here…. … the furnishing are working so well w/ the building. Good job! It’s a major home run… I think there is something here that GBBN can certainly be proud of.

Sustainable Features:

Open and inviting, the renovated and revitalized Tangeman University Center (TUC) features a 90-foot tall atrium, floor to ceiling windows, meeting rooms, multi-functional spaces, and many student amenities.  A stunning new, circular exterior envelops the existing north wing of the student union, creating additional interior space and floor-to-ceiling windows through which natural light illuminates the building. Additional natural light comes through skylights that replace a majority of TUC's existing roof. Because of their historic and sentimental significance to the UC community, both the clock tower and TUC's historical facade facing McMicken Commons were preserved and given new life.
