GBBN’s latest multi-family residential project “4th Street” is a surprisingly dense residential development for Capital Investment Group that will add 232 residential units to 4th Street in downtown Louisville between the nightlife surrounding 4th Street Live and the theater and music scene of the famous Louisville Palace Theatre. As a vital link between two destinations, the project design aims to create a safe and engaging pedestrian experience that responds to the varied conditions at each of the streets bordering the site, and a building exterior that is appropriate in scale, rich in materiality and contextually appropriate to the urban fabric of one of Louisville’s most important historic commercial streets.
