A Multidisciplinary Symposium on the Future of Oncology Care

Oncology is a fast growing and dynamically changing service line.

New research and advancements in technology challenge the ability of practice to keep pace. At the same time, healthcare organizations face emerging issues around providing affordable, personalized, and equitable care.

February 3, 2022 from 1:00-3:30 pm EST, GBBN is convening this symposium to hear from both administrators and clinicians on how they’re addressing these and other issues as they work towards the future of cancer care.

We will focus on controlling costs, the rapidly accelerating pace of clinical innovation, the need to prioritize health equity (and the challenges that faces), and the value of partnerships outside of the industry. In particular, the symposium will seek to understand how facility design can leverage resources within and outside of the industry to advance the way care is delivered.

Roundtable 1: Market Challenges

1:00p – 2:00p EST | Panelists will discuss their organizations’ approach to developing a comprehensive, systemwide cancer care strategy. Topics will include when it is appropriate to develop close-to-home vs. destination cancer care spaces, technologies and approaches they’re investing in, and steps they’re taking to address staff stress and fatigue. Register here.
