Chris Magee

Chris has built his love of drawing into a career where drawings get built. He has embraced his love for mid-century modern (MCM), from an Eames chair in college to two MCM home renovations. In his free time, he even builds abstract sculpture and architectural metalwork. And when he’s on a project, whether it’s a complex historic renovation or a new healthcare facility, that comes into play: He doesn’t settle for givens, but rather brings a high standard of integrity and craft to challenge norms and evolve both buildings and systems.

News & Insights

“This photo was taken at COSI in Columbus, Ohio, designed by Arata Isozaki. Our family visited here while working on the Union Terminal Restoration and Renovation to look at precedents for museum additions. Whether traveling for adventure or leisure, architecture is always a top sightseeing priority. While experiencing great buildings with my family, my kids have added a new lens on how I view successful design.” – Chris Magee
