With a drive to make things work, find ways to be efficient, and above all—get things done, Shannon ensures our Cincinnati office runs smoothly. But she’s also a creative person, making her and GBBN a natural fit. An actor who received her BFA in Dramatic Performance at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, Shannon has performed on stage and TV , as well as in films, and commercials.
“Puerto Rico truly is La Isla del Encanto. I already miss her. She’s beautiful, magical, and inspiring. We visited less than 6 months after Hurricane Maria tore through the island. It was hard to reconcile the damage the hurricanes caused with how gorgeous and inviting she was in February. Her blindingly blue skies and warm breezes made it easy to forget. Puerto Rico had come so very far and done an enormous amount of work in the months since Maria. While many signs of the hurricanes were already gone, we saw the blue tarps on the rooftops of San Juan as we landed. We saw North American line workers in bucket trucks stringing power lines in the dark. We saw a community waiting in line at the local baseball stadium for their FEMA rations. They were still tirelessly moving toward normal. Those we met were happy and optimistic even if they still needed help. It’s hard to describe the feeling of pride I felt for the people and the island I’ve never called home.” – Shannon Faith
