Steve Kenat
AIA, LEED AP BD+C
Principal | Director of Community Development
An avid home brewer (his IPA has just the right bite) Steve knows an artful calibration of ingredients yields superior results. As GBBN’s Director of Community Development, he brings the same creative precision to residential, workplace, cultural, and mixed-use developments, providing strategic direction and leadership that balances multiple stakeholders, empowers design teams and clients, and channels their collective passion into transformative projects that impact the people they serve. His recent projects include the restoration of Cincinnati’s iconic Union Terminal, an administrative and service expansion for St. Vincent de Paul, the new urban development at Court & Walnut, and the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company’s new theater. An active participant in the Urban Land Institute, Steve advances the national conversation about thriving communities by speaking at the national, regional and local level.
