We`re helping @cincychildrens expand their Liberty Township Campus so kids and families in Butler County and beyond have access to the pediatric experts at Cincinnati Children`s Hospital Medical Center.
GBBN and HKS collaborated to design Cincinnati Children`s Liberty Township Campus Expansion, with GBBN leading the design of campus, medical office building, and hospital core and shell, and HKS leading master planning, medical and operations planning, and hospital interior design. #architecture #design #health #healthcare #hospital #pediatrics

Thank you to jury for recognizing our evidence-based design work. "This was a very impressive study of the main hospital entry portal," noted one juror. The jury panel praised the way the project demonstrated a thorough and well-rounded approach to implementing the eight steps of the EBD process and the methods used to conduct a critical review and interpretation of the literature was well documented. The city of Cincinnati asked for ideas reimagining its unused subway tunnels which sit dormant underground. The city invited design firms to dream big and we responded with a concept that celebrates Cincinnati`s arts community. Working with @uofcincy`s Office of Research, @artworkscincy @cincycac @cincyshakes and the Carol Ann and Ralph V. Hail Jr. Foundation, we imagined an underground network of arts hubs including theater space, exhibition space, artists studios and more. Our team sees the the tunnels as perfect for installing a light-rail system one day, but until then, they could further enhance the city`s vibrant arts community.
