HCD EXPO: SUPPORTING HEALTHY OUTCOMES BEFORE ENTERING THE EXAM ROOM
Ben Earls’ presentation at the 2017 Healthcare Design Expo and Conference centered on how clear and intuitive navigation is a key component of a positive visit to the doctor’s office. GBBN’s work with Cincinnati Children’s is one example as Ben explains:
“The large and ever-evolving main campus of Cincinnati Children’s comes with changing challenges of wayfinding. But each challenge brings opportunities to improve upon the existing environment related to the “front door,” getting where you need to go, as well as the registration and waiting experience.”
Joining Ben in the presentation were GBBN’s Amy Mees, IIDA, LEED AP, and Char Mason, RN, MBA, BSN, NEA-BC, and Vice President, Patient Services and Operations, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
