Healthcare Design magazine has named GBBN Principal Brooke Behnfeldt their HCD 10 award winner for interior design. The annual HCD 10 recognizes standout industry professionals across 10 categories.

The selection committee cited the scope of work Brooke has completed over the past year, including the new arrival sequence at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, the collaborative work environment at TriHealth, and the new expansion of Ronald McDonald House of Greater Cincinnati. Feedback from the committee included: “We loved the thought you put into improving the environments in [these] projects to answer the very specific needs of the involved stakeholders and transform spaces in ways that help people seek care, work, and heal.”

Brooke will be included in a special feature showcasing the HCD 10 winners in the September 2019 issue of Healthcare Design magazine.

“The transformation of our leadership and administrative offices has been remarkable,” says Steve Mombach, Senior Vice President, Ambulatory Services & Network Development of TriHealth Cincinnati. “Beyond the physical improvement of these workplaces, the positive change in our employees’ productivity, collaboration, and morale has been incredible. Brooke’s design insight was instrumental in helping us achieve our goals for the health, wellness, and interaction of our teams.”

Congratulations Brooke!
