EDAC Certification for Amy Mees

Amy Mees has earned her Evidence-Based Design Accreditation and Certification (EDAC). Administered by  , the internationally recognized EDAC program awards certification to healthcare planners, architects, designers, contractors, and managers who demonstrate an understanding of applying evidence-based design to healthcare facilities. EDAC is part of the Center for Health Design’s mission to advance best practices and empower healthcare leaders, design professionals, and product manufacturers with quality research that demonstrates the value of design to improve health outcomes.

“As a designer and medical planner, I think it’s important to link design decisions to achieving the best patient, staff, and operational outcomes in the healthcare environment,” says Amy. “I’m excited to expand on the rigor GBBN brings to our design and planning.”
