Patient Centered Waiting Rooms

In the Summer 2018 issue of IIDA’s Perspective magazine, Amy Mees shares insights on how re-thinking hospital waiting rooms can create a better experience for patients and families. As she says:

“It’s not the same old same old anymore, and healthcare systems are faced with competition as to where individuals are seeking their healthcare and why. A big reason to choose one location over the other is the environment and experience of a visit. This is especially true of younger generations.”
