Angela Mazzi named ACHA Fellow

It is our great pleasure to announce that Angela Mazzi has been elected to the Council of Fellows by the American College of Healthcare Architects (ACHA) Board of Regents. Fellowship is granted to ACHA Board certified architects specializing in healthcare, who have shown distinction in fulfilling an area of expertise as determined by the College’s Council of Fellows.

Angela uses evidence based design and Lean principles to understand and improve the healthcare environment. Her work advances empathy and positive outcomes by incorporating salutogenesis (health generating buildings) and a user-centered process. She continually advances the science and art of planning and building, as well as the standards of healthcare research and practice, by improving the relationship between experience and environment.

Angela joins the ranks of distinguished fellows and is one of only 500 colleagues in the United States and Canada who are certified healthcare architects. The official convocation ceremony will take place at the Healthcare Design Conference in Phoenix, AZ on November 11, 2018. Congratulations Angela!
