GBBN Celebrates Masonry with TMI

Representatives from GBBN recently joined the Tristate Masonry Institute (TMI) for the 2021 TMI Excellence in Masonry Design Awards.

A professional organization that provides educational support for masonry contractors, design professionals, and education centers, each year the TMI celebrates the best in masonry design at their Excellence in Masonry Awards Banquet. Two GBBN projects, the Cincinnati Union Terminal Restoration and Mercy Health Deerfield Medical Center, were recognized for their design excellence this year.

The evening’s featured speaker, GBBN Associate, Nick Cates discussed the painstaking work that went into restoring Cincinnati Union Terminal (where the event was held).

“I continue to be grateful to have been a part of the talented team that saw this complex project to completion,” Nick says. “There were so many skilled masons and designers involved in the restoration of the Cincinnati Union Terminal. It was a pleasure to be able to share that story with the Tristate Masonry Institute.”
