GBBN designing the first downtown grocery in nearly 50 years

GBBN is excited to serve as the architect for the new Court and Walnut development located in Downtown Cincinnati. The 18-story building will feature 139-apartment building, a 550-car parking garage, and an urban two-level Kroger store. The opening of this new Kroger marks the return of a central downtown grocery store since 1969. This project signals a great moment of revitalization for the City of Cincinnati. Mayor John Cranley stated “this is a sign that the renaissance in downtown and Over-the-Rhine is here to stay and accelerate.”
