In the News: Cincinnati Ballet x GBBN

We’re thrilled to be working with Cincinnati Ballet on the design of their new dance center. Strategically sited to be both easily accessible and highly visible, Cincinnati Ballet’s new home is all about expressing the grace, strength, and joy of dance.

The Margaret and Michael Valentine Center for Dance, located in Cincinnati’s Walnut Hills neighborhood, will provide room for growth, a vehicle for attracting, and retaining the best dance talent, and space for the city and the region to engage with Cincinnati Ballet through education and community programs.

“This is 50 years in the making and will take us 50 years into the future,” says Victoria Morgan, Cincinnati Ballet’s Sue & Bill Friedlander Artistic Director.

“Victoria Morgan and Cincinnati Ballet work to break the stereotype that ballet is only for a certain group of people,” says Matthew Schottelkotte, GBBN’s CEO and part of the dance center’s design team. “That really resonated with us and the design was very much influenced by their mission to share the joy of dance with everyone.”
